David Stone Lawyer
The office of David Stone Lawyer at 247 Pakuranga
Highway is obvious to all who travel the Pakuranga Highway. Joining
him at his distinctive premises are:
Senior Solicitor Helen Robinson
Legal Executive Anne-Therese Goward
Legal Secretary
Sue Gold
Office Administrator
Jill Stone
Formerly a partner in a city practice David
chose to set up his own firm as an 'all services' legal practice
near where people lived and worked. The benefits to clients of a
local lawyer include easier access, greater responsiveness, lower
fees and car parking directly outside the office.
David attends to a wide variety of legal matters
especially all manner of contracts, all matters affecting businesses,
employment, matrimonial and property law, and particularly family
and trading trusts and asset planning and is now a Notary Public
and a mediator.
While providing comprehensive legal services
my special interest areas are family and trading trusts, sale and
purchase of businesses and franchise operations, employment, matrimonial
and de facto property matters, and company and commercial law matters.
Helen Robinson, Senior Solicitor, specialises in trust law,
personal asset planning and protection, wills and succession and relationship property.
As well as general practice Helen has particular experience in relation to estate planning,
the establishment of family, trading and charitable trusts, relationship property agreements
and issues arising when people leave New Zealand to live overseas, as well as estates and wills
and personal affairs matters.
Anne-Therese Goward is a registered Legal Executive with city and suburban legal firm experience.
She specialises in all property matters, particularly residential conveyancing, estate and trust administration and client private affairs.
The hallmark of a good lawyer is the ability
to listen, analyse and give sound, practical and independent advice.
That is the professional service David aims
to provide to all his clients in a friendly and relaxed manner.
In addition he strives to perform on time, at a fair price and always
to the clients satisfaction.
In addition to occasional presentations to community
and business groups, David regularly presents a legal talkback
session on nation-wide radio with Kerre Woodham on Newstalk ZBs
Kerres Café. The often lively discussions
which ensue are informative and entertaining and feedback is always
positive. That advice service provided by David compliments his
30 years continuous service as an advisor with the Citizens Advice
Bureau.
The Wall, announcing who and what he is, attracts
a huge amount of attention, particularly when any of the distinctive
lettering goes missing!
A feature of Davids office is a mural
in the waiting area designed by architect Daniel Marshall, who is
responsible for the transformation of a suburban house to professional
offices.
David also works from his home office at 273 St Heliers
Bay Road, St Heliers. Access to both offices is made easy by
parking at the door.
As a general practitioner, David is able to
draw on broad experience and knowledge to advise on most legal issues
and can provide skilled, trustworthy and knowledgeable representation.
Davids practice is probably best described as a general one
with a strong commercial emphasis, taking care of the legal aspects
of clients personal and business affairs.
